Iron Mountain Rope Access Company History
Applying Rope Skills Honed in the Major Mountain Ranges of the World to Industrial Rope Access, Rigging and Safety Scenarios
Iron Mountain Rope Access provides customized training and services for the work at height industry. We offer state of the art training in all aspects of industrial rescue and specialize in training linemen in fall protection, tower climbing, tower rescue and bucket truck escape.

Regardless of your industrial rope access needs, you will find that Iron Mountain Rope Access provides a full array of rope access solutions for work at height scenarios that would otherwise require expensive scaffolding or heavy machinery. Rope Access has proven time and again to be a quicker and less obtrusive solution to challenging problems like bridge inspections, banner and sign hanging, and building maintenance.

Our technicians are highly trained and certified by SPRAT (Society for Professional Rope Access Technicians) and the AMGA (American Mountain Guides Association). While many professionals in this industry come from a caving background, our employees have decades of experience as mountain guides and mountain rescue personnel. Our director Mark Synnott is a world reknowned professional mountain climber, certified guide and a long time member of the The North Face Climbing Team. Mark’s credentials include first ascents of some of the world’s tallest cliffs, like Great Trango Tower in Pakistan. He has also worked extensively in the film and tv industry as both a climbing talent and rigger and has been involved in more than half a dozen National Geographic sponsored expeditions.

Iron Mountain Rope Access is fully insured, and you can rest assured that your project is in the hands of highly trained, professional rope access technicians. Our employees have real life experience with high angle rescue, and over the years we have been the first responders at numerous accidents where people’s lives literally hung in the balance.
